Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension

It was Saturday morning. I woke up and said "I know what we're going to do today!" That day, the entire family went to see an advanced screening of the new Disney Channel Original Movie "Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension." The movie was amazing and hilarious! Now, I don't want to tell you too much about the movie, but what I can say is that Phineas and Ferb find out about Agent P. after helping Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz build his latest -Inator.

I can also say that there are character appearances from other Phineas and Ferb episodes such as Love Handel and the Phineas Droids and Ferb-ots. And Finally, Doofenshmirtz finds a more evil version of himself in the 2nd Dimension!

After the movie, Radio Disney gave out Goodie Bags with movie posters in them. They also gave out door hangers and asked for thoughts on the movie. I told them how I loved it! I said that my favorite part was the final battle. You'll see why when you watch it on August 5th!

New Vinylmations!

Muppetvision 3D Vinylmations
Since I am a huge Vinylmation fan, this video really stood out to me. I thought it was pretty funny. This video is officially made by Disney to promote the Vinylmation "Robots" Collection. I will be sure to get my hands on at least four of these! My Vinylmation Collection has expanded since my Last Post about them. I am adding to my Vinylmation collection day by day, month by month, year by year, trade by trade. I am a huge collector and when a new set is released, I'm there to get an individual box! My collection features "The Nightmare Before Christmas," "Disney NYC (Minnie Statue of Liberty)," "The Muppets: Set 1," "The Muppets: Set 2," "Have A Laugh!," "Disney Parks," and "Disney Villains." There are many more sets to name! I hope to add to this collection in the future, which isn't hard because sets such as the "Haunted Mansion" and "Muppetvision 3D."

Hitchhiking Ghost (Ezra)
Madam Leota
I am quite excited that Disney has made enough Vinylmations to make them a challenge to collect. Now, If you've never bought a Vinylmation, I'm here to tell you that they come in Blind Boxes, meaning that you can't see which one you get, only the collection that they belong to. Vinylmations can be based off of Theme Park Attractions, Disney Movies, or Famous Original Disney Characters! Even if you do not like collecting things, I personally think that you should give Vinylmation a shot! It is a great thing to get started on no matter what your age is!

Last Tour to Endor at Disney's Hollywood Studios

About a year ago, I went to Walt Disney World. My favorite thing we did all summer was "Star Wars: Last Tour to Endor" which was the last ride on the attraction "Star Tours". They had a show called "Indiana Jones and the Lost Jedi Temple of Doom" which was AMAZING! And guess who was there? None other than George Lucas, the creator of "Star Wars" himself! Anthony Daniels (voice and body of C3P0) was there, too. The writers of "Robot Chicken" were there, too! Seth Green and Matthew Senreich (the creators of "Robot Chicken") were there also. Seth Green played as an extra in the show.
There was a fight between Boba Fett and Indy Jones, Princess Leia instead of Marion Ravenwood, Stormtroopers instead of German Soldiers, and Han and Chewbacca joining the fight. There was also Darth Maul as the Cairo Swordsman, a lightsaber duel between Darth Vader and Indiana Jones. Leia hit Darth Vader with the plane and Indy won, but only because it was an Indiana Jones show. They had Tusken Raiders and Jawas and R2-D2. After the show, George Lucas looked directly at me when I called his name, and when I called for Matt Senreich, he actually came over for a picture! I ran into him again at the Star Tours Closing Ceremony and he remembered me!

The way Star Tours went down was Boba Fett throwing a grenade into the building because Darth Vader thought the ride was a disgrace to the Sith. At the Jedi Training Academy, as the young Padawans fought Darth Vader, Ahsoka Tano and Ventress (from StarWars: The Clone Wars) battled on the bottom. There was a Star Wars fireworks display (onetime and one time only)! The Fireworks probably cost over one thousand dollars! It was lighting up the whole sky! Anyway, the new Star Tours ride will be set in between Star Wars Episodes III and IV, which means that Pod Racing will be featured in this ride! The new ship that you will be riding in is the Starspeeder 1000 apposed to the 2000 everyone is used to. I have a Sneak Preview Star Tours Starspeeder 1000 Limited Edition 10,000 from Celebration V! I am pretty sure they are sold out of them. It has lightspeed sound effects, engine sounds, an R2-D2 that has sound effects from him and the doors open and the seats are all there lined up in front of the screen. This event was very awesome and I loved it!

LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean 3D

Recently, I bought "Lego: Pirates of the Caribbean." I own the game for the 3ds, where every gunshot and sword swing are so close and detailed! The game takes you from the original "Curse of the Black Pearl" to the newest adventure "On Stranger Tides", where the pirates set out to find the Fountain of Youth. "Lego Pirates of the Caribbean" is the best LEGO game that they have made so far! And you could not even imagine how great Captain Jack Sparrow works in a LEGO game!

As always, LEGO puts their own comical spin on the movies. And when LEGO does that with their games, it makes them even more exciting and fun! "LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean" is for fans of "LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars 3D", "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest", "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End", and "LEGO Indiana Jones"

Phineas and Ferb: Perry the Platy-Bus ON TOUR

Dan Povenmire's Autograph
This morning, I was in New York City. I was there to join other fans for the the kickoff ceremony of Disney XD's "Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension." In case you're not familiar with "Across the 2nd Dimension," I'll catch you up. It is the new "Phineas and Ferb" movie based on the Emmy-Award-Winning TV Show. I am a huge Phineas and Ferb fan. I have been watching the show since the "Rollercoaster" episode. In the middle of Times Square, fans sat on the turf to watch the opening performance. Radio Disney was there playing music and dancing. Then, a group of children performed a song from Phineas and Ferb. During the event, my sister and I had the chance to play a game based on the song "Squirrels in My Pants" where my sister held a pair of pants and I had to throw stuffed squirrels into them. As prizes, they gave the both of us T-Shirts. Then, after that, they played "Whip My Hair" by Willow Smith, and whoever whipped their hair most got a Phineas and Ferb Frisbee custom-made for the event! Also, the coolest part of the opening ceremony was when Phineas and Ferb unveiled the Platy-Bus. It was huge! The inside of the bus had two small TVs, one big HD TV, Two Nintendo Wiis, and two Nintendo DSs. It was a great experience!

After the ceremony, I got to interview Dee Bradley Baker (Perry the Platypus) American Dad!, Star Wars: The Clone Wars.) I also got the signatures of Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh, the creators of the show, and the signature of Alyson Stoner (Isabella,Camp Rock, Cheaper by the Dozen.) Dee Bradley Baker was very nice and he even did the Perry the Platypus signature noise! He also gave me his autograph! (picture shown above) The Interview went great!

A Handful of Questions: Dee Bradley Baker

Bookboy: Why did you sign on to Phineas and Ferb?

Dee Bradley Baker: Money! (laughs) I like semi-aquatic mammals!

Bookboy: Do you like being a voice actor better than being a live-action actor?

Dee Bradley Baker: Yes. I don't have to memorize lines or wait in a trailer all day!

Bookboy: I notice your name in other TV Shows such as Star Wars: The Clone Wars and
American Dad! How long have you been voice acting?

Dee Bradley Baker: I have been voice acting since the late 80's.

Bookboy: Who is or was your favorite character to play?

Dee Bradley Baker: Momo from Avatar: The Last Airbender and the Clone Troopers from Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

I had a blast interviewing Dee Bradley Baker! I love Phineas and Ferb, and this event was great! It was awesome seeing some of the cast and going in the Platy-Bus! It was such a cool day! Winnie the Pooh

On Saturday, I had the chance to watch "Winnie the Pooh" before it hits theatres on July 15. I love Winnie the Pooh! I have been watching Winnie the Pooh movies and television shows since I was born, so this was a spectacular chance to see the movie. It was perfect for me because I could not wait for it to come out. It turns out I didn' t have to! I had the opportunity to see it on June 9th instead of on the 15th! "Winnie the Pooh" is great entertainment for the whole family! It is hilarious!

The movie is about Pooh Bear and his friends (Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore, Rabbit, Kanga, Roo, Owl, etc.), who are set on saving Christopher Robin. They go on a quest to find him, and lots of crazy things happen on the way such as Pooh dreaming / singing about honey. I forgot to mention that the "creature" that captured Christopher Robin is called a Backson, a creature made up by none other than Owl. Now, I don't want to spoil the movie for you, so I'm going to stop right here before I can say anything about the hilarious scene where Piglet and Pooh are being chased by a swarm of bees.

I enjoyed the movie very much! To learn more about the "Winnie the Pooh" film, you can visit the Official Website. I guarantee that you and the whole family will enjoy "Winnie the Pooh!" I also guarantee that when it hits theatres, I'll be seeing it again!
